The kids and I embarked on the 1st leg of our road trip on Monday morning.....
we left home nice and early, all loaded up in Noony & Pa's captiva and hit the road for Canberra!
They all had their own DVD player and DS, which proved to be lifesavers for me :) thank goodness for technology....

When we got to Canberra we had to wait for Manon to finish work, so we filled in a couple of hours at the Australian War Memorial museum - the kids thought it was awesome, and they have really upgraded it since I was last there 16yrs ago for a school excursion!Izzy thought this motorbike was "cool"
